Hello! My name is Claire Morville, and I am a student at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland.

I am an information science major, focusing on user experience and design. During my freshman year I took computer science with classes in Java, R, and HTML. Since then, I have loved my courses in User Centered Design, Information User Needs, Introduction to Data Visualizations, and Informatics in Emergency and Disaster Management. During my final semester (Spring 2021) I will be completing my senior capstone. I have recently become involved in the Crisis Technologies Innovation Lab at Indiana University researching mesh networking to assist during search and rescue missions and asset tracking.

I love to read, spend time outdoors in the sun, and snuggle with my dog. I have a passion for wedding planning and spent the summer of 2019 working with a wedding planner where I provided day of coordination and crisis management for the bridal party. I play volleyball, volunteer, and spend time with friends and family.
